Guruvayurappan 6.5″

The original idol of Guruvayurappan is a 4-foot tall, four-armed statue made of the stone Patala Anjanam (black bismuth). It is depicted in a standing pose holding the Panchajanya conchSudarshana Chakra discKaumodaki mace, and a lotus. The idol is also sometimes represented with a flute in a different variation, and it is considered a form of Lord Vishnu, representing the full avatar of the deity, though it is affectionately viewed as little Krishna.
